Application Permission Requirements

To enable certain functionalities, the app requires the following permissions on your device:

CAMERA

Required to let you photograph homework questions, textbook pages, or worksheets for instant AI-powered analysis and step-by-step solutions. Camera access is only used when you actively choose to scan a problem.

MICROPHONE

Used to capture your voice when you ask questions verbally. Audio is processed locally and/or sent to a speech recognition service solely to convert your speech to text before being analysed by the AI tutor. We do not store raw audio recordings.

PHOTO LIBRARY

Allows you to select existing photos from your device — such as a picture of a homework sheet — and submit them for AI analysis. Access is read-only and only triggered when you explicitly choose an image from your library.

SPEECH RECOGNITION

Enables the app to convert your spoken questions into text using Apple's on-device and/or server-side speech recognition framework. Recognised text is then forwarded to the AI engine to generate a solution. No voice data is retained after transcription.

USER TRACKING

We may request permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites in order to deliver relevant advertisements. This permission is fully governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and requires your explicit consent before any tracking occurs.
